Trip

Arrival in Corciano at 10 a.m.: Accommodation in b&b in the village.
10.30 am: meeting at the Corciano Tourist Information Office for a visit to the Antiquarium archaeological museum.
We continue with an accompanied tour of the village and its other museums, starting from the main entrance to the village - Porta Santa Maria - adjacent to the Torrione, a permanent exhibition centre of Medieval and Renaissance Culture, built in 1482. A stop at the parish church of Santa Maria Assunta, which houses the Pala dell'Assunta painted by Perugino (1513) and the Gonfalone della Madonna della Misericordia by Benedetto Bonfigli (1472). It continues with a visit to the Pievania Museum and the Peasant House Museum, testimonies of local culture. The walk proceeds along 'the almond tree path' to the Church of San Francesco. The tour ends with the discovery of the frescoes in the Sala del Consiglio in the Palazzo Comunale, the former residence of the Della Corgna family.
1 p.m.: lunch at a typical restaurant in Corciano.
4 p.m.: Departure from Corciano to discover one of the area's recently rediscovered nature trails. The 'Il Poggiolo' itinerary is one of the oldest routes on Monte Malbe and the closest to the village of Corciano. Along the way, the visitor's eye is lost in the splendid panorama of the Umbrian hills. Within the dense forest one can still see the remains of ancient mule tracks, limestone mines and charcoal pits. For those with a sweet tooth, we recommend an inviting snack of the typical Umbrian torta al testo, at the Colle della Trinità park, where you can also admire a fantastic sunset over Lake Trasimeno.
8.00 p.m.: Dinner at Evo Bistrot of the Azienda Centumbrie di Agello.

9 a.m.: Breakfast at the b&b followed by departure for Passignano sul Trasimeno.
10 a.m.: Departure for Passignano sul Trasimeno. Walk along the lake and free tour inside the village. This is followed by a tour of the Fortress and ascent to the Tower from which a splendid view can be enjoyed. Inside the fortress you can also visit the Museum of Boats.
1:00 p.m.: Free lunch
4 p.m.: Departure for the Big Island. The place, still inhabited, besides the unspoilt natural landscape, has interesting historical monuments such as the Chapel commemorating the passage of St Francis of Assisi, the Lace Museum, the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo and the 13th-century Palazzetto Medievale. Shops selling typical products and places to eat can be found within the small village.
8 pm: Dinner at Trattoria del Pescatore in Passignano and return to Corciano with overnight stay at a b&b in the village

10 a.m.: Ascent to the centre from the free car park at Pian di Massiano to the Pincetto station via the Minimetrò service.
10.30 am: Arrival in the historic centre of Perugia, enjoying the city's classic attractions such as: Rocca Paolina, the Cathedral, the descent to Corso Cavour with the Churches of San Domenico and San Pietro and ending with the picturesque Giardini del Frontone.
1.30 pm: Lunch with a typical menu at the Osteria a Priori restaurant along the street of the same name.
3.30 p.m.: Meet at the historic centre of Perugia for an exciting urban trek, 'Perugia Etrusca', to discover the historic gates of the city walls. The guides of the Gran Tour Perugia will immerse you in a fascinating walk of about three and a half kilometres, retracing the historical origins of the place and its oldest circle of walls.
